Here are my eight random facts. In Israel they played with just 5 !!:
My parents immigrated to Israel from central Europe. As a child, I looked very much, like my neighbors.
I had very dark skin, eyes and hair. My brother
I played the piano for 7 years, hated the last one,
rebelled at age 15-16 and quit..
My father was disappointed
He believed I'd become a famous pianist..
I had my Sweet Sixteen surprise party in New Jersey, during a trip to the States
for my cousin's wedding. Never heard of that sort of a party before..
In Israel, girls celebrate on their 12th birthday.
The celebration is called Bat Mitzvah. .
Because I was a soldier on my wedding day, the Rabbi was
a military one..
I served the Israeli army for almost 2 years.
Besides Librarianship, I studied English Literature, a poor choice,
I made it hard for myself.. Never intended to become an English teacher
I was a pioneer...settled on a "naked" land, in 1985
and started from zero a new town in Israel,
We were young and brave.
I joined the staff which founded the Rishon - Lezion (my home town)
Those were fascinating days.
For 13 years I worked in a women's magazine as a librarian and archivist.
When I got bored I developed a marketing department,
